Eden - Hord models arrive

I got my new Hord models for my Brood master and Beast master. Maelstrom made a mix up and I actually got both starters even though I only order the Brood master. Once again very nice models from Taban. I didn't order any bases so I need to place an order for some bases asap.

The hord have some interesting rules and here is the card for the Brood master (cards can be download from Tabans web site). The masters Frenzy tokens can be used by allied fighters within 20cm to power special abilities. Then the Frenzy token can power a 1AP, + 1CBT or even +1SPD.

Eden - Green Tonbo 2

My Eden ISC painting project has stuttered a bit but I have painted the "Green Tonbo 2" drone. Its a cool looking model with light plasteel armor Full + 1. It has the flight ability and I really like the Kamikaze ability, all models within 5 cm suffer explosive(2) blast as receive a slowdown marker.

Eden - new Faction , the "Hord"

From Taban ... Only as exclusive Salute 2012 release. Will be available in online store May.

Will be part of a new faction called the "Hord" , I think it means you can play the NPF as a faction? Cool idea and I already have some lycals (dog like creatures) so looks like more models for me ;-) You get profile , tactical and mission cards as well so you can start playing Eden with new faction.

Eden - Starting to get noticed

I have been getting more and more frustrated that there is very little Eden background published in English. Hopefully we (that is the English speaking population) are part of the marketing strategy of Tabans Eden game. I hope so!

I saw this today in a German "Tabletop Insider" magazine, its a 6 page campaign that looks very cool. This is just the low res image, other wise I would have attempted to translate to English.

Tabans Eden is one of the best skirmish games out there the moment. Taban is a French base company and some of the more detailed background (Fluff) is only in French. Here is my attempt at putting it all together in one place. I will try and add to this as more information becomes available.

EDEN

Eden - some hidden gems

It quite often pays to have a look at the French forum to see whats happening in the skirmish game Eden by Taban. I don't do it enough but here are two new painted minis. I think its  Felindra "Tigers head" for the clan Bamaka and Hildergarde for clan convoy.

Also from forum (but not from Taban so I can't vouch for it accuracy)

Felindra, 15 pts 3-4 PSI, 5 in CBT, in VIG 4, 5 in RAP. A small poisoning or a spear to run (with a little less focused and strength that Ngwane, it has arms thinner!) And perhaps the rule"Stealth" or even the Stealth Kuno.
